STORY TELLING
Whee Teck
Facilitator, Arters Learning Programmes: Human Skills for a Changing World
Ong Whee Teck is a storyteller, author, and leadership coach with over 30 years of experience helping professionals communicate with clarity and impact. A Fellow of the Singapore Computer Society and former Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS School of Computing, he has trained thousands of executives and IT professionals in the art of narrative—whether presenting to boards, leading transformation programs, or building personal brands. Whee Teck is the author of several books including Story Essence, Adult Learning Architecture, and The Job Apocalypse, reflecting his belief that the ability to craft and tell compelling stories is fundamental to leadership and influence.
Beyond the boardroom, Whee Teck is the founder of Singapore Sketchers and an accomplished watercolor artist whose travel journals have taken him from the batik workshops of Java to the temples of Bangkok. His creative practice informs his teaching: he approaches storytelling not as a corporate skill to be memorized, but as a craft to be developed through observation, structure, and authentic expression. Through his venture Arters Pte Ltd, he designs soft-skills programs that bridge the gap between technical expertise and human connection. Whether teaching executives to pitch ideas, professionals to share lessons learned, or teams to align around a vision, Whee Teck brings warmth, practical frameworks, and decades of real-world experience to every session.
